13va Emisión Festival Internacional Rodará

La compañía Rodará se creó en el año de 1998 en la ciudad de Puebla con el fin de promover y difundir las Artes del Espectáculo. Siguiendo con este objetivo la Compañía ha realizado 12 festivales desde su fundación siendo esta la celebración de la 13ª emisión.

ACTIVIDADES El Festival se llevará acabo en el mes de noviembre de 2010 en la ciudad de Puebla. Antes y durante el evento se realizarán diversas actividades:

• Presentación de espectáculos en espacios abiertos y cerrados dependiendo de las características de las propuestas.
• Conferencias y mesas de trabajo para el intercambio de técnicas, metodología y experiencias de los participantes.
• Proyección de videos, documentales y películas referentes a las artes del espectáculo.
• Talleres de las diferentes áreas.
• Funciones extraoficiales.
• Exposiciones visuales.
• Convención Internacional de Circo y Escena

Este año se contará con la presencia de programadores de artistas y directores de diversos festivales nacionales e internacionales, así como un buzón de entrega de propuestas para participar en dichos eventos. También se realizará un catálogo donde se recopilará la información de los artistas seleccionados para enviarlo a diferentes festivales a nivel internacional.

La Compañía Rodará CONVOCA a solistas y grupos de las Artes del espectáculo (Pantomima, danza, circo, clown, artes de la calle, teatro físico, performance o la fusión de estas) a presentar sus propuestas para integrar la programación artística de la 13ª Emisión del Festival Internacional Rodará: pantomima, danza, circo y clown, en la ciudad de Puebla.

BASES INFORMACIÓN DEL SOLISTA O GRUPO

1. Curriculum
2. Breve reseña o historia (1 cuartilla)
3. Número de integrantes y nombre completo.
4. 4 Fotografías como mínimo (recientes)
5. Datos de identificación: Nombre completo (en caso de ser grupo nombre del responsable o representante) Dirección, teléfono, móvil, E-mail, Web. Es importante enviar esta información con respaldo en un CD.

INFORMACIÓN DE LA PROPUESTA

1. Nombre de la propuesta
2. Reseña de la propuesta (1 cuartilla)
3. Número de integrantes que participan en la propuesta y nombre completo.
4. 4 Fotografías como mínimo.
5. Necesidades técnicas: Un DVD de la propuesta COMPLETA. La propuesta que no cumpla con este requisito no será tomada en cuenta. Es importante enviar esta información con respaldo en un CD.

SELECCIÓN

Las propuestas recibidas serán analizadas por el Consejo de Selección del Festival, quienes darán su veredicto de acuerdo a la calidad y originalidad de los trabajos. La presente convocatoria queda abierta apartir de su publicación hasta el 30 de Agosto de 2010. Los resultados serán dados a conocer a partir del 15 Septiembre de 2010 vía mail. A las propuestas no seleccionadas, se les invita a participar de manera extraoficial en las funciones colectivas que se presentan en escenarios abiertos o de calle, confirmando su participación con la debida anticipación, para coordinar los espacios.

The Rodará Company was created in 1998 in the city of Puebla Mexico. Rodara´s main goal is promoting and spreading Scenic Arts.

Taking that into consideration Rodara Company has organized festivals since it´s creation, making this 12^th emission of the festivals.

ACTIVITIES

The International Rodara Festival will take place in Puebla, Mexico during November of this year with a wide variety of activities:

• Artistic Performances that will be held in closed and open spaces depending on the characteristics of each performance.
• Conferences and Discussion Table with the purpose of exchanging tecnics, methods and personal experiences af the participants.
• Projection of videos, documentaries and movies referent to Scenic Arts.
• Workshop of the different areas.
• Extracurricular Performances.
• Different expositions (art, photography, paintings).
• International Convention of Circus and Scene.

This year we will have the special assistance of promoting companies and directors of National and International Festivals.

The Rodara Company INVITES all artists of scenic Arts (Clown, Circus, Dance, Pantomime, Physical Theater, Street Art, Solists or Group Performers) to send their artistic work proposal and become a part of the 12^th International Festival Rodara of Scenic Arts.

REQUIEREMENTS

1 Resume

2 Small Easy or History of the group or solist (one page)

3 Number of members with full name of each one.

4 Pictures of the different performances of the group (4 minimum, recent).

5 Legal ID, full name, home and office address, cell phone numbers and e-mail.

In case of Group Performers, please present all personal information (above) of the person responsible of the group.

Please send all the information (with back up) on a CD.

PROPOSAL INFORMATION

1 Name of the proposal.

2 Synopsis of the proposal.

3 Number of the members participating.

4 Video or DVD of the FULL Performance Proposal.

5 Recent pictures of the proposal (4 Minimum)

6 Define if it is a theater or street show.

7 Technical necessities and technical staging manager.

8 Definition of target audience (grownups, families, teen agers or children).

The Proposal Selected to participate in the International Rodara Festival will be notified on September 15^th 2010, by e-mail.

Selected groups can be sent to other locations as extensions of the festival in other cities of the country.

People which proposal  were not selected, we invite them and everyone to join and participate in the extracurricular activities that will take place during the Festival at the different locations selected for Artistic Exposure in the city. Please confirm your assistance.
